Beyond classroom or church
we are here together
Perhaps our only real duty
is to find our freedom’s flow
that is rooted in beauty
in faces and marketplaces
on hillsides and downs
in cities and towns
finding truth through uncertainty
even in university
The reign of God is always at hand
in sacred spaces and everyday places
Listen to the music
Read the Word and the World
long enough and deeply enough
so that what comes forth is
(remember our duty)
connexion, depth, and beauty
Hold them and let them hold us
See everything and everyone
then be amazed at the face
of God looking back at us
